True self leads to true friendship

This Feb. I had about a short two weeks break, I decided to go back to Vancouver to take a break meanwhile to catch up with my best friends. I really have to say...I had a really great time, also the time in Toronto.

I really cherish that God has brought them all into my life, and some of my friends do not belong in the same group, but they somehow knew each other or have heard of each other from what I described to them.

I always feel for friends I have way much more tolerance perhaps it's way better easier to be my best friends, because I don't expect much return from them. Sometimes you get disappointed, but it's ok to leave things unsaid and let the time goes by. After awhile, we are still able to catch up with each other.

With my best friends...you'll be able to find one commonality and that is non-pretense or at least not afraid of showing their true self in front of me. I've realized that one essential reason caused failures in relationship is because either we're trying to pretend or satisfy that special one so that he/she will believe that we're indeed the one they're looking for.

In a short term, this might work......but let's say in a long run this will not work for the true self side will eventually reveal itself. I once told my friends...if you want the truth then come to me! haha...and I'm still very proud to say that. Simplicity is another way of keeping the relationship easy and smooth.

So happy to have sooo many great friends surrounded me :)
From elementary school up to my university years & my co-workers........u all know who you are!

Again....be true to yourself and that is to love yourself first by knowing what your personality is like. Do not be afraid of rejection when it comes to relationships. You are who you are....people will appreciate when you're open to let them know your true self. Also, by revealing our true self it gives us an awareness that constant self-check is extremely necessary such as the pros and cons about ourselves....and where are the areas that we need to improve...etc!

Love is all about learning, we don't suddenly become a love expert in just 1 day! It is a process and a life-time lesson for all of us :)

Keep up the great work, and I love you all!

I hope it is a place where people get inspired. A place where a prayer is found..A place where supports are available..
Love shall never end..It shall never cease..Because all we have to do is to LISTEN & BELIEVE!

All About Me

“I asked God for strength that I might achieve. I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey. I asked for health that I might do greater things. I was given infirmity that I might do better things. I asked for riches that I might be happy. I was given poverty that I might be wise. I asked for power that I might have the praise of men. I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. I was given life that I might enjoy all things. I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I hoped for. Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among all men, most richly blessed.”
