Unity In Love

「所以你們既是神的選民,聖潔蒙愛的人,就要存憐憫、恩慈、謙虛、溫柔、忍耐的心。」
(歌羅西書三章十二節)

Colossians 3: 12-14

12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

This morning woke up around the usual devotion time 4am, knowing that God wanted to say something to me.

As God's dearly beloved chosen ones, we should be holy and dearly loved. Someone who have been fully loved and fully felt secured in love should be able to love one another.

Similar to what's stated in the 1 Corinthians 13, as followers, we should bear the fruits of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Although it is not easy, we should learn to always come before God as he is the source of love.
We may show lack of compassion or any of these characteristics due to our different circumstances at all times. We may be stressed or unintentionly revealed that we are emotionally unavailable for anyone. However, may God help us to become a better caring person and provide us a sensitive heart at seeing other's needs.

He asked that we bear these fruits for one another always and constantly forgive, because we are imperfect and never will be perfect. Sometimes the way I choose to reveal my emotions may be hurting to others, I pray for forgiveness on that. As Jesus has died for us at the cross, his blood cleansed our sins. His power overcame our weaknesses.

We need to spend that quiet time with God alone everyday. To make that dedication to stand in guard our own mind, relationship especially marriage and family. Pray for true unity/bond in love. It is little time invested daily, but in eternity it definitely worths much greater. In spiritual realm, God would do greater than we can imagine.

Start praying and expecting greater things for God's about to bring you to a new level of life.

I hope it is a place where people get inspired. A place where a prayer is found..A place where supports are available..
Love shall never end..It shall never cease..Because all we have to do is to LISTEN & BELIEVE!

All About Me

“I asked God for strength that I might achieve. I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey. I asked for health that I might do greater things. I was given infirmity that I might do better things. I asked for riches that I might be happy. I was given poverty that I might be wise. I asked for power that I might have the praise of men. I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. I was given life that I might enjoy all things. I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I hoped for. Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among all men, most richly blessed.”

Love isn't love unless it is expressed; caring isn't caring unless the other person knows;sharing isn't sharing unless the other person is included; Loving, caring, and sharing can make for a very happy marriage -- by Anonymous
