Mika & Misia

I love Mika and Misia's voice probably b/c both of their vocal range belong to alto, yet they could still sing high pitch notes very well. I have always like black people's voice such as soul music (especially the black gospel soul) for some reasons despite the fact that they're so talented.

The commonality of these songs are they both got soft vocals along with piano and string orchestra such as violin..etc. Of course they all talk about love ^^

Mika's song is interesting because in the song she uses 花霞 hanagasumi..I think it gives a good illustration of Japanese Shintoism. That "kami are local and can be regarded as the spiritual being/spirit or genius of a particular place, but others represent major natural objects." I have always love flowers such as pink/purple roses, lilies..etc but the thought of talking to flowers just never occurred to me! As I get older, I begin to appreciate nature more so would want to capture some of the beautiful images so I can remember them myself. However, I always wonder...these beautiful natural scenes can't just happen to occur by itself just like a tasty tiramisu cake wouldn't happen to appear out of the blue without someone making it. (and of cuz I'd probably relate that to Cindy..haha the best!) Likewise, there's definitely someone who created this universe with all these wonderful natural objects..etc. Therefore, I'll always remind myself not to forget to give thanks to God (referring to the Creator of the universe including everything not just mother nature).

I hope it is a place where people get inspired. A place where a prayer is found..A place where supports are available..
Love shall never end..It shall never cease..Because all we have to do is to LISTEN & BELIEVE!

All About Me

“I asked God for strength that I might achieve. I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey. I asked for health that I might do greater things. I was given infirmity that I might do better things. I asked for riches that I might be happy. I was given poverty that I might be wise. I asked for power that I might have the praise of men. I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. I was given life that I might enjoy all things. I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I hoped for. Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among all men, most richly blessed.”
