Yesterday around 1am, uncle passed away...but we were glad that he has finally accepted Jesus Christ as his personal saviour and got baptized 2 days b4 he was sent to ER. He was originally from Mainland China married my dad's 5th sister (my dad has 5 brothers & 6 sisters)...my 3 cousins are Christians married non-Christians. He was an atheist when he was young, but what I see is the weakness of human beings. We, even at the last moment of our live, we cannot even choose to live 1 more day. When our body failed...the story ends. We were all very happy to see that he made this major decision, and felt that God really loves him a lot to take away his cancer pain in this world.
Knowing and having the hope that one day we can all go to Heaven and see our loved ones releases us. It's a joyful reassurance that one day we will see each other again in a wonderful place.
Just made me thinking that...wouldn't it be sad ....if the person you loved in your entire life....still chose not accepting Jesus? If it's me..I'd probably be heart broken knowing that it's not only temporary physical separation, but also eternal soul separation b/c in the Bible it says ~~ I am the way, the truth and the life. No one come to the father but by me -- John 14:6
